It's too bad we have to watch Islam go through its dark ages on the world stage. Most Muslims I know are moderate people who find comfort and guidance in it. Being an atheist myself, I continue to be mesmerized by how easily people are mesmerized by religion--to the point that they would kill and destroy for it. Survival of the fittest must have included easy to sway to a group opinion rather than expending energy to look deeper..
