
Food – Good weather will help the world's farmers reap record wheat and rice crops this year, the U.S. government said on Friday, which should allay fears of shortages and help bring prices down from current high levels.
This does not ease my mind. Too many calamities have gone down. Fires every year, tornadoes, food and meat diseases. Then there is your imported foods with their poisoned chemicals. You don't know what nature will do. Grow your own and don't even think that your government will see to your table. Hope for good weather is all you can do.

Well, that's a nice forecast. But the Atlantic hurricane season begins in 3 weeks. The cyclone that hit Southeast Asia was early in the season. If the annual storms are minimal or below normal, we may expect this forecast to be true. But that's a big if.
