The problem is that without pesticides, fertilizer and other chemicals farmers cannot grow enough food to feed the country and/or the rest of the world. We should all realize by now since food is being used for fuel there is a growing monster of a problem feeding everyone. Also, the research has been done over and over organic food is no better or safer than conventionally grown products. When you eat organic food, if it is truly organic, as there are lots of fakes, you are only putting dollars in the pockets of people who are prospering on your ungrounded fears. Suckers.

Unless you are buying fresh local grown produce which is in season. Odds are you have no clue where or how what you are buying was actually grown (China). If they don't check the toys, pet foods, meds, or any of another couple hundred things I could list coming into this country do you really feel safe sticking that veggie in your mouth. Even if it actually is organic (and their definition may be a little different than ours), Do you know what a major source of organic fertilizer would be in China. Lets just say when someone makes the comment that the broccoli tastes like Sh_t . That could have a whole new meaning. Plus they are probably growing it in a reclaimed industrial dump site. Some of that stuff really makes it grow.

Organic food is the best. I feel todays packed foods are so stale. If health is on your cards then organic food is the best. Nice article...
