Wow what a great story. Couple of things make me wonder though: Why doesn't the guy save up and buy the cart outright? He's been doing this for over ten years and he hasn't bought his own cart? Why does the city of New York impose such ridiculous standards on street vendors? Cart inspections? Insane.

Because Jayson, the city wants money. They are in dire need of it, this is they're way of extracting it from it's citizens. They have to fill the financial fiscal gap.

This is Rudy-affected New York City --- do you know how much in bribes that guy would have to pay for the cart, instead of working for the "syndicate"?

I've had this guy's shish-ke-babs with all the trimmings, minus the hot sauce, it's the greatest! No kidding.

You haven't had MY kabobs. I learned how to make filet and ground while in the ME.
