Starbucks can do what they like. I'm healthy, my weight is perfect, if I want a slice of iced lemon pound cake now and then and it has bad, evil fats in it, so what? Since I'm in one of the locals targeted for the change, I'll just skip their less-fat version and I will probably not be alone. When their sales go down, the fat will be back. Why not just set up a Dept. of Healthy Food and control every bite every person in this country eats? Then no one will ever get sick and no one will ever die. NAHT!

I doubt very seriously their new pastries will taste any different. The reason they use trans fats isn't for taste. It's because they're cheaper. The pastries will still contain fats. They will just be better for the heart.
